10:00 - 14:00               Salemi official tour : 1 euro houses & castle.
14:00 - 16:00               Lunch break : free time.
16:00 - 19:00               Salemi bespoke project development sites tour (eg hotel development site) and optional museum & church visits. Visit local Salemi secondary property market offers.
20:00 - 23:00               Free time for dinner. Feel free to join MIPC at dinner in Salemi.

08:30 - 10:00               Questions and Answers : breakfast meeting.
11:00 -                         Hotel check out and airport transfer.

Price :
The cost is £210 GBP per person based on 2 people sharing a double bedroom.
If you require a single room the price is £235 GBP per person (this includes a single room supplement).
Flights are not included.
Please fly into Palermo(PMO) or Trapani(TPS) airport (both approximately 45 minutes from Salemi).

Price includes per person :
2 nights accommodation : 80 euros.
1 evening meal Friday 4th September | 25th September | 16th October | 13th November | 4th December : 50 euros
Administration charge : 100 euros.
MIPC charge in Sterling thus the total of 230 Euros is charged at £210 GBP

FURTHER INFORMATION :

Accomodation : The Hotel Villa Mokarta is 5 minutes from Salemi town centre. Parking available. There is no swimming pool. Breakfast is included.

Transport : You are advised to hire a car for your trip to Salemi, Sicily.
Directions from the airport are very clear.
Trapani(TPS) 40 minutes.
Palermo(PMO) 50 minutes.

Sicilian Highway Code : I do not think it exists !!.
Sicilians have their own rules on the road, do not be shocked if drivers disobey the highway code, drive directly behind your tailgate, flash their lights at you, toot their horns, make physical gesticulations in your direction or stop in the middle of the road for a chat with a passing friend. This is part of the Italian culture, if you can’t beat them join them. Rights of way and precedence tend to be established by the quickest, most aggressive driver. Roundabouts are particularly confusing as there appear to be no road rules. Please always drive with prudence and if in doubt do not hesitate, toot your horn and drive confidently.

Dinner : There is one official dinner on the Fridday evening included in the price. On the Saturday evening you are free to come and go as you wish or join the MIPC team in a local restaurant.

Clothing : The cobbled streets of Salemi after hundreds of years of use, can at times be slippery. Please wear appropriate sensible shoes.

Opening hours :
Shops and tourist attractions in accordance with the local Sicilian lifestyle tend to be open from 8:00am till 13:00pm. Lunch is generally from 13:00 – 16:00. Shops re-open after 16:00 and will remain open till 19:30.
